Purpose |

This course is designed to provide participants with a foundation in the
concepts of risk management and specific system safety analysis tools with
which they can assess and manage the risk associated with manufacturing
processes, facilities, and products. |

At the end of the course, participants will be able to: |

Practice the use of uncomplicated–but proved and effective techniques
in system safety/ risk management and engineering. |
|
|
Select appropriate system–safety analytical techniques for application
to practical workplace situations. |

|
Conduct a system program concurrent with other assurance disciplines. |
|
|
Identify hazards which can impact workers, the public, productivity, the
environment, facilities and equipment, and market position. |
