It is not the intent of this course to provide information concerning the operation and specifics for every type pumper apparatus.

This course is intended to meet the requirements of NFPA 1002, Fire Department Vehicle / Operator Professional Qualifications, and provide general information concerning the operation and safety features of pumper apparatus that the student can transfer to a particular apparatus.
